WHO WE ARE
The Carolinas Chapter of RCI, Inc. is the oldest Chapter of RCI. If you are a member of RCI, Inc. nationally, and live in the North or South Carolina area, you are automatically a member of the Carolinas Chapter.
The Carolinas Chapter is a not-for-profit affiliated chapter of RCI, Inc. RCI, Inc. is an international nonprofit association of professionals who specialize in roofing, waterproofing, and exterior wall specification and design. From sprayed polyurethane to cedar shakes, from parking garages to air barriers, RCI has a member expert for every type of roof, exterior wall, or waterproofing issue in the world today. Since 1983 RCI professional members have offered unbiased design, repair planning, quality observance, legal testimony, and general roof and building envelope management services.
RCI Carolinas Chapter is a Region II chapter.
MISSION
The Carolinas Chapter mission is:
To provide for the professional development of our current and future membership
To represent the interests and values of our current and future membership
To convey RCI's perspectives to the public and the roofing, waterproofing and building envelope industries, and
To support professionalism, ethical behavior, education, career oppotunities, and research in the roofing, waterproofing, building envelope and related industries.
EDUCATION
RCI, Inc. regularly hosts education programs designed to demystify and explain practical applications of roofing technology and sound building envelope theory. A monthly journal and newsletter with international and regional events provides interactive forums for informational exchange and networking. The Registered Roof Consultant (RRC), Registered Waterproofing Consultant (RWC), and Registered Roof Observer (RRO) programs distinguish professionals with the proven standards of education, experience, and ethics.
